With a whisk, mix the eggs, half-and-half, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl until everything is well mixed.

Melt butter in a large pan over medium-low heat. Dip the rolls one at a time in egg batter and turn them quickly (don't soak). Place the roll in the hot pan.

Repeat with the remaining pieces or as many as fit in the skillet pan.

Cook for 2-3 minutes each side and turn when golden brown.
